A Passion for Interiors

CREATING STORIED SPACES

My approach to interiors is the same as my approach to brands: curated, considered, and instinctive. I’m drawn to spaces that feel collected rather than decorated—mixing eras, materials, color and unexpected details to create something distinctive, but never overdone. The goal is always a space with a point of view: polished without feeling precious, and personal without feeling prescribed.

In 2022, just as we were all beginning to return to in-office work, I had the privilege of leading the design of my first commercial project—BigSpaceship’s new head office at 44 Wall St, inspired by Soho House. After years of working from home, our goal was to convince people that coming into the office didn’t have to feel drab, and that the space itself could elevate your working experience instead. We started with a blank canvas and a tight budget, working primarily with rented furniture in a leased space.

The resulting design is eclectic, sophisticated, and effortlessly comfortable, with a focus on creating warm, inviting, and personalized spaces that would make employees feel, well, at home.
